a perfect night for a perfect post :) A cup of tea (since i don't savour coffee much) and nice hot Pakodas would have added flavour to the post :) Anyways, did 'few' interesting and 'few' not so interesting things over the weekend.

Read a book called "Have a little faith" by Mitch Albom, gifted to me by my Bhabhi. Here's a quickie review : It all starts with an unusual request from a 82 year old Rabbi from Albom's hometown asking him to deliver his Eulogy.
Feeling unworthy, Mitch insists on knowing the man better, which throws him back into a world of faith he'd left years ago. The interaction with Rabbi not only reinstates Mitch's faith in God but also inspires him to be a better human being. There were some beautiful stories/messages in the book, which were very invigorating.
The book is not very thick, so can be easily finished over a week! Read it when you're feeling low :) A really nice book!

Hmm.. since any weekend for me is incomplete without a movie, i happened to see "Man from Earth"
Mindblowing, yeah it literally did that! 7 characters, 1 room, a guy proclaiming to be a caveman (few thousand years old!), 90 minutes -- trust me it will blow your mind too!
In a line : Superb movie, perhaps one of the most interesting movie i have ever seen.

Now time to talk about the not so interesting things that i did :( Went for a show called "We, the people" and trust me i didn't enjoy being one of them (pun intended). The discussion was on the much-hyped issue "Racism is Australia". Barkha Dutt was the host, and the Australian High Commissioner, Peter Warghese was the guest for the show. He spoke well, but the entire discussion was highly boring. Barkha was usual!
Will put up the link whenever it is telecasted.
I guess this was the only not so interesting thing that i did! Ha ha :)
Plan to do some serious cooking this week :)
love,
Siddharth
PS. I still have to write on Global Warming. But on a lighter note, i guess i am liking it - break from chilly dilli winters! :)
